Suggestions on a good riggers belt?

When I was on active duty, I wore one of these older models every day with my uniform (as an inner belt) with my weapon belt clipped onto it. Loved it. It lasted through about 30 deployments all over the world.

After getting out, I really wanted one of those cobra belts because they were the new hot shit with operators. But I couldn't justify the crazy cost just for a cool looking buckle. So, I ordered another old school riggers belt ($27) like the one linked above, and I still love it. It's tough, does not stretch out, holds my edc gear and iwb holsters in place. I'd recommend it if you cant find a cheap cobra belt. These are stiff and make great edc concealed carry belts.

Also, i never tried one of the cobra belts on, but i read its a pain in the ass because you have to take one half of the buckle off, thread it through your belt loops, put the buckle back on, adjust it to fit, readjust the buckle, then you are good to go. But, you can't quickly take the belt off and put it on another pair of pants without going through all the steps listed above. I read that they look cool, but they area a pita.

I recently bought a budget cobra belt on amazon since it gets great reviews and I want to try this style.

I like the belt however it is a pain in the butt to move it from pant to pant. I’m going to continue using this belt but won’t buy another. Wilderness 5 stitch or the 5.11 alternative is the way to go. I’ve used a wilderness and 5.11 for about 7yr.

I wore a Tactical Tailor riggers belt on duty and off for years with no regrets. I've done bail outs with it in training and they really do hold but it isn't any fun. Nice and stiff for edc, would still be wearing it today except the velcro finally gave out and I haven't done much of anything about getting some new stuff sewn on.

I've got something like what fieldgrade posted. But lacks the Velcro. I think I got it at Field and Stream before they neutered themselves. Three years of daily use iwb carry during the week and it gets mag pouches and stuff threaded onto it for the range days. It's still plenty stiff and is easy to take on and off on a daily go to work basis.

I want one of the Cobra belts to put on my battle belt because it would be easy to take on and off.

Hard to beat a belt from these guys. Free and fast shipping, hand made in the USA and reasonably priced. I’ve had one for several months and I wear it every day. One of the nice touches is that this buckle will actually fit through your belt loops.

Oh and I have a mil discount code. PM me if your interested in a belt from them and I’ll hook you up with it.
