Anyone have any experience with these things? They are supposed to work in temps as low as -30°. My son lives in Colorado and does a lot of skiing and elk hunting. I thought this might be a good Christmas gift if they really work.

I bought a GOOLOO GP4000 rated from -4 to +140 degree F and up to a 10L diesel engine. Walmart was selling them for $92.00 during cyber week.
IIRC they have models (GT4000) that incorporate a pre-heat function for extreme cold conditions down to -40F.
It a battery type but its nice to be able to charge cell phones and other devices vs the capacitor style.
