3-lug adaptor, works well. However, after running a few dozen shots the can will be roughly hot enough to burn your fingerprints off.
Lol! My TBA can has a palm print on it.

Optimum barrel length for 22lr velocity wise is about 16". No reason for a longer barrel other than sight radius.I recall the .22 doesn't pick up anything from a barrel longer than 5"
I'm seriously considering suppressing my old Savage 340 30-30. Not sure if there's enough meat on those barrels though lol
I was thinking 1/2" on that oneI have a 340 in the safe.
Plan to eventually thread it.
May need a custom extension to get 5/8x24.
Starline has 300 blk brass now and I have dies. I fail to see the problemAs long as we're drifting about, can anyone recommend factory subsonic 300BLK ammo? I have a single shot rifle coming in the next couple weeks. I know that I should have bought a .308 bolt gun, it was a moment of weakness, but nonetheless I need to feed it and am not setup to reload for it yet.
Thanks
Damned enablers, brass ordered.Starline has 300 blk brass now and I have dies. I fail to see the problem

Any less effective for sound reduction? I always thought that the can needed to big blast chamber, but maybe that's only needed for rounds with larger charge weights than we typically use.I have one.
It does shorten (and lighten) the can by a big margin!
