Man this has me considering one of their cans for my X95 sbr now. I assume 5.56 results will translate well. If only they had a swappable mount.

Wow, would have NEVER thought the SOCOM was that good. Really impressive for the Hyperion K too.

Edit: HOLY SHIT the Hyperion K is only 10.5 ounces! The OSS is 19.6 and the Surefire is 19.5.

Yeah and those weights on the OSS and Surefire are before muzzle devices are added in too! They're some dense cans. Hyperion series being direct thread certainly has some advantages, on top of being all titanium. I'm looking at the all titanium OSS cans now since they cut 5 oz off, though the muzzle device adds a decent chunk still. My bank account is shivering.

Rifle can tech seems to be really heating up. The full size Hyperion on a 308 bolt gun is crazy!

Revisiting this thread and wanted to see if anyone had the Hyperion K or OSS HX-QD762 in hand and some good testing with it. I want another .30 can and I was considering the Sandman K, Nomad (or Ti), or the Resonator K, but then I remembered this thread.

That Hyperion K at 10ozs and that much suppression is just crazy.
