Who has one? How do you like it? Reviews seem to indicate it's one of those inexpensive jewels like Moras and Opinel.

I used to have one, very cool little knife. Ended up giving it to a friend in a pay it forward thread I believe.

I prefer the opinels, however, because I could never get completely used to that metal tang thingy sticking out. But it does add a lot to its charm.

Honestly for the price I recommend buying one and playing with it to see what you think.

I have one in with my tools, a tool it is, tough, practical, not elegant but definitely cuts and sharpens easily

Those are known as friction folders. I'm sure its good steel but that bump there would eventually rub a hot spot in your palm.

If I were making one I would turn the spur 90 degrees and widen it to the width of the handle and recess it.

a friend overseas loves to mod svords

Had one, traded it for an Opinel, because as JRGreen said, that bump does rub in long use.

Now I have to go lie down because I agreed with JRGreen!

I don't like knives that don't lock short of small swiss armies. I have an opinel I carry when I travel out of the country. It's a known traveler's knife and no one gives it a second thought even in countries that frown on weapons. Not sure how you would safely and comfortably carry one of these Svord dealies...
