Thanks for one of our forum members I picked up a package deal on two excellent condition Swede Mausers, a 96 and a 38. I finally had a chance to shoot them today. I used my handloads.
I wasn't able to sight them in, left my tools at home but the 96 shot 1" 5 shot groups at 100 yds and the 38 went to about 1.5". I used 4895 and flat base 140 gr soft point bullets. I'm pretty happy with the rifles!
It was a nice way to spend an hour today!
