Another one of my ongoing threads that will probably have more questions in the future.

Is it normal for one trigger to be substantially lighter than the other? Probably related, is it normal for one hammer to be noticeably harder to pull back?

Maybe need a trip to the gunsmith to make them even?

Double barrel shotguns are notorious for weak fire control devices, best to have a competent gunsmith/mechanic check it out before loading a round.

Probably due to one barrel being fired more often than the other. Which one is lighter on the trigger and which is heaviest on the hammer?

Can also be a partially broken sear, the possibilities are endless so why guess when a tear down and inspection will give you a better insight.

The triggers are almost the same, left one is a little heavier, but the left hammer is WAY heavier.

Both triggers are over 8 pounds, highest my gauge goes.

One more thing, probably fine, the hammer faces are obviously peened from hitting the exposed firing pins. Expected?

Penned hammers are another reason for a take down and inspection. Penned one end usually means substandard protrusion on the other end; possible misfires, etc.
