Sylva gun show

LOL, that's a 5+ hour drive for me. Son just graduated WCU in December....awesome area!
 
Finally a show close by, really, really close by. Im going to be there at some point:cool:

My daughter graduated and came back to do her Masters there. She love Western! And the fishings not bad either!
 
I may hit it due to the fact that my wife and daughter are going to a bridal show in Asheville that weekend and we're goin up to sylva anyway.
 
When I was in at Western, there was a little gun shop on Main St just as you come into town. That was almost 15 years ago though. I think it was called Mountain Gun. I bought my first Glock there and had them do some smithing for me. I believe the man's name that ran the store was Bill and when I was last there he wasn't in good health and his son was helping to run the place. Good people to deal with. I wonder if it's still around?
 
I saw the web site that the show was canceled, but could not get on to post til now that I am home from work. Bummer, was gonna take the youngest.

Well crap! Now I've got to find something else to do in the big city of Sylva!
 
Note to self: check CFF before going to the Sylva Gun Show (not after!). It was definitely cancelled.... just got back, parking lot was empty and a cancelled sign out. Interstingly, heavy flurries coming down in Webster vs. Sylva.
