With the electrical gremlin that had been running around in our Mazda 3, decided it was time for it to go.

Very nice! Congrats on an awesome truck!

That is sweet. Looks a like a big truck far away. My Dad picked up a 2015 and part of me is jealous. Especially since it will chirp the tires going from 1st to 2nd.

Thats a great looking truck!
Interior pics?

It feels like it too. We test drove a Colorado and a Frontier, the Tacoma feels the best of all 3, the Frontier is...very... Spartan on the inside. It's basically the same as the 05 Xterra I used to have.

Nice Taco. My '07 has been good to me.

I wanted to buy a Frontier two years ago but the seat back bolsters are made for smaller humans, and I am a larger human. The seat bolsters "pinch" my rib cage. Even the Taco is a good deal longer than my Ranger, but I think a Taco will be next.

I think when it is time to replace my 2010 Sierra, I really might look for a long bed Tacoma. There isn't much a Tacoma can not do that my sierra can, plus easier to park, better offroad, and better gas mileage. I was impressed with how peppy the V6 is.

Just from what I saw perusing the lot, the Double Cab Long Beds seem to be priced a little cheaper than the short beds. Probably not as popular.
We drove a Access Cab long bed, sitting in the front seat felt completely different than the Double Cab, no idea why, but the salesman said it a common statement.

I'm impressed by the amount of storage space and cubbies for things, it's pretty well though out.

I think I may have to buy a Shockwave for under the back seat storage area.

Wow, that is VERY nice!
Ive been thinking about a new vehicle, not sure a truck would work for me...but, man, does this make me want to start looking and seeing how unaffordable it is for me haha

Thanks a lot for posting all of these pics! You don't often get to see good shots of the more odd spots/angles.

I'm actually toying with the idea of trading in my 3 series for a TRD Off Road.

Schweet frickin' rig man! Congrats!

I didn't think it was going to be doable for me either, but we lucked out, wasn't planning on buying right away, but things just worked out.
Besides, my wife is a negotiation fiend...
"300 for these junk floor mats, you know we are just going to take them out?” LOL

I've been in sales related activities my whole life, but I actually learned to negotiate watching my wife buy Charlie Brown Christmas trees at the farmer's market when we were dating.

I went back and forth between the Sport and the OR, I don't see myself leaving the pavement enough to use the OR to its fullest potential. The sport rode better I thought, plus they didn't have a OR with the package I was looking for, so negotiated that to my favor
