So forgiveness I skipped to the end. Did you buy one? I still want a Garand but the price of the really nice but non refurbed ones has gone through the roof.

I saw two at the last knob creek show. There are also the rob arms clones (no belt versions though) that pop up from time to time on gb. Usually go around 2k.... I doubt I'll ever get one... maybe if Rob arms does another run.... 🤔

To update a bit: normally when I buy a gun it is my “favorite” for a few weeks, then my eyes begin to wander to other things…not so with this old girl. I want another. I want all of the 30-06 ammo. I want the old ammo cans with Greek on them. I want bandolier and enbloc clips. I want bayonets and scabbards. I buy the books with her on the cover.

You gotta pick up at least a few boxes of .30-06 M2 AP black tip just “to have”. It’s part of the old girls history and neat to have in an enbloc sitting around. It ain’t cheap … a couple bucks per round the last ones I saw … but maybe @cubrock could point you in a good direction on those.

$2.50-3 a round is market right now and we can’t keep it in stock. Have about a dozen en blocs left. Prior to COVID, we were sitting on about 5,000 rounds or so, but have been wiped out, despite buying more when we can find it.

Very cool ammo.
