Finally got one. (Don't tell my my wife though). Nice shooter and seems plenty accurate. Did some decent damage to some plastic water jugs. I think in the unlikely event of a bug out situation I would take this and maybe my Taurus Raging Bull in 44 Mag.

Been looking for one myself... Nice find

They go for stupid money. One on gb for 1400 right now. It's ending in 3 hours anyway started at a 1 cent bid. Very nice... Enjoy!

$1400 for a Taurus??? That's heading towards snake gun territory...

... And it sold for $1425 cash and $30 shipping. If you pay cc, you have to add 3.9%. That's for a used gun and no ammo, mind you. Hope you got a great deal on yours, @Colt454

Maybe a little more than half, but agreed. ... But they are still making the BFR. Raging Hornet has been out of production since 2004. Was only produced for 5 years, and that was in limited quantities. ... Supply and demand

I guess. Never heard of demand for a Taurus... Guess there is a first time for everything...

You might find a good deal if it is used and not go through your typical gun shop. I got mine via a trade with a buddy. I have seen a used one for $600 ish.

I never heard of these, but they might be a great defense gun, since we recently learned that any bullet that hits you at 2,200+ FPS is superior to any handgun “normal” round, regardless of caliber.
Check out a 22TCM or a 22TCM9R. Gets close to that, plus you get a huge fireball, huge thud, all with no recoil.
