Hey all I just wanted to say thank you for all your help with my reloading questions. I went to the range yesterday and it was a complete success. I loaded several different configurations of 223 and 9mm. Different projectiles and different powders. Played around with the OAL as well. Gotta admit I was a little nervous being a first time reloader but very excited at the same time. Every round fired flawlessly and my guns and fingers are all intact. It was pretty cool knowing I created those bullets. Felt kinda like a proud daddy. Now it might have just been me but they seemed more accurate. Maybe I just had a good day. Due diligence, attention to detail and all your advice and recommendations paid off. I'll probably still be picking your brains on my journey down the rabbit hole but once again, thank you all for your help thus far.

Same thing for me last Friday. Only difference is the range was closed so I just shot at the berm so no idea how accurate they were.....did hit the dirt...lol. At least I know they fired. Know the feeling you had shooting the first ones.

Welcome aboard. I've reached a confusing point in my life. I don't know if I reload so i can shoot or shoot so I can reload .

I'll say it again, OAL and COAL aren't hard and fast rules, but more guidelines so ammo will function.
