Since my grandmother, and some aunt's/uncle's have passed away. My extended family is no longer making the trip to do Thanksgiving. We started coming down to Oak Island for the week. We are not big turkey people, so we do a low country boil instead. Man I am stuffed.

It’s nice our sons have taken to bringing fine dishes and helping out. My SIL carries a lot of the load as well. It’s not all on me bride’s back as I help out.

Nailed it. Best turkey I’ve done. I am sold on injecting poultry. Great results and a heck of a lot easier than brining. Breast meat was tender and juicy.
