The Bad Batch Coming in May

Don't think I'm in for this one
watched the first episode the animation was great but it just wasn't for me

It was a great continuation of the arc from the final season of Clone Wars!! They did retcon Caleb Dume / Kanin Jaris Order 66 ordeal from a previous comic series though. Overall I was impressed and am curious how this story progresses.

still watching clone wars
might watch an ep or two while i play yoshi on switch... because i'm a grown man and i can.
and i might have potato chips for dinner too.
scratch taht. corn chips. it's cinco de mayo

Meh. Star Wars is pretty much trash these days.

Anyone else still watching this? I'm invested already so can't stop now. But I gotta say it isn't at all as good as CW or STR. Can't remember where I read it, but someone mentioned that they're just bringing in nostalgic characters to keep the viewers entertained. I've yet to see where the story is going.
But like I said, I'm in too deep to quit...

Wife is watching it. I think Iā€™ve been in the room for an episode or two, but no idea whatā€™s going on. I know
Hera showed up in the most recent one
, but couldnā€™t tell you anything about what happened.

Watched it this evening, was an interesting tie in I didn't expect. She was much younger.

It is a bit uneven but it fills in a hug gap in the timeline between the end of the Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. It is 100% Filoni trying to connect the dots. They still can't get order 66 straight.

Still watching. I expect it will lead to how the Republic went from clones to Stormtroopers.
They talk about recruits vs clones but the storylines Filoni is filling in are deeper than that IMHO

It is bridging the gap between The Clone Wars, Attack of the Clones, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars, Empire, Return of the Jedi and the Mandalorian.

Lucas left a huge gap in the cannon and Filoni is filling it in. This is taking place right after order 66 as Anakin is becoming Vedar and before Star Wars Rebels. This happens somewhere around 19 BBY. Star Wars Rebels starts in 5 BBY. Which make sense because Hera and Kanan are kids in this era. Omega is the wildcard
