So I've been watching videos about the odd idea of using a cheek "brace" on a Keltec CP33 22lr pistol to give all the functionality of a braced pistol but no fuss with the impending move to shove pistol arm braces into the NFA category.

Since I already have a CP33 that is currently wearing a clunky 3d printed brace w a KAK blade, I am intrigued by this.

I gave in and ordered the cheek attachment part from Trung the Maker today, I'll post how that goes here. This one gives a bit more length for my fat face and a place for a QD sling mount.

Anyone else tried this madness?

Would ones razor or choice of shaving technique impact accuracy? Would you need a cheek rest? Would people with tougher skin get less abrasion and powder burns? Lots of questions.
Well the part I ordered will give me a nice flat ledge to rest my face on. It really only works with oddly shaped pistols like the CP33 though.

The key to that gun is knowing where your face is and where the moving slide is when it fires (a bigger caliber). If you don't lose your face, you might lose your Howard Leight headset real fast.
It's not meant for usage on guns with reciprocating slides. 😳
