The Deep Fryer

Man I love my deep fryer.
Now I'm probably not as inventive as lots of y'all, but my top 3 are
-Chicken Taquitos
-Chicken Nuggets
-Shoestring French Fries

Next to learn is corn nuggets. Mmmm. Corn nuggets.

I've been using an air fryer though, it seems like I would waste a lot of oil.

Oh man love me some fried stuffs! I worked as a fry cook back in my teenage years and developed a love for it that I still maintain. I like skin on potatos fried unbreaded. We make chips, fries and thick slices that we make fried tater sammiches out of. I would love to have a good corn nuggets recipe.

Make a beer batter. No matter what you use it for, if you are like me you will fry everything you can find in the house just to not waste the batter (beer).

I make fish and chips or onion rings and next thing you know I am at the state fair. Banana peppers, pickles, oreos, cookies, olives, pop tarts, old meat, the list can go on forever.

Besides that I love wings, fries, tortilla or potato chips, fried chicken, potato skins, bacon. Great, now I need to bring my fryer back out (normally put it up after football season).

There's a burger place down here, Poppy's Burgers & Subs, that deep fries Oreos, Nutter Butter, Twinkies, and chocolate cake.

I use a Dutch oven as my deep frier. Main things that get fried are catfish and hushpuppies during the summer.

I have a deep fryer and used it for a while. A real "PITA" to clean and does not keep temperature. I use my cast iron chicken fryer for deep frying almost exclusively now.
