Just saw "News of the World" with Tom Hanks. Great western, wonderful scenery and great firearms. I was a bit skeptical of some of them as far as introduction dates but all were legit. There was one screaming technical blooper that was integral to the plot that I won't reveal but still and all, great movie. Even the missus liked it.

I will have to check it out. Thanks!

The only technical bloopers that I saw was the terrain. It sure wasn’t north or central Texas....

Great flick though.

Brass shells with cork to plug them. Set in 1870. Seems legit.

He was seeing his breath in San Antonio near midday....

I've been to San Antonio in January/February. I didn't buy the cold scenes.
How about that! I was looking for a roll crimp to keep the shot inside but per the Wikipedia entry, it didn't exist then! Another item to add to my knowledge.
