I pulled out the old copy of Blade and watched it again tonight. Got me thinking that Marvel should dust it off and add him to the MCU. After the next, and likely final, installment of the Avengers comes out they will need something to fill the void. I could see Blade and punisher doing a team up.

I couldnt make it through the first blade movie

They have a lot of stuff queued up to fill the void...

There are a lot of rumors of a Snipes Blade cameo role. Next MCU phase is supposed to revolve around spiderman like the current revolved around iron man.

Blade was great. The sequels fell off a bit, but still watchable.

As for the future of Marvel, I hope they don't go the way of Star Social Justice Wars, but we are already seeing signs they are heading in that direction.

Just prognostication, so I'm probably 90% wrong, but I think the big three are all in for a soft reboot in the next two years.

DC - are replacing Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck as superman and batman, and Zach Snyder is gone, so they might wipe the slate clean and do a reset of everything. Of course, the question is what they would do with wonder woman in thtlat case.

Star wars - September 30 is the end of the fiscal year, and there are rumors that they are getting rid of Kathleen Kennedy, which would open the door to redoing their entire framework. I hope that this is the case.

Marvel - most of the actors' contracts are running out, James Gunn is gone, and marvel just got fox and access to xmen and fantastic four(more importantly, wolverine and the various villains). They could use the aftermath of the next avengers to reset everything and bring those into the fold.
