Well....it's not The General Lee.

The General Lee was a CHARGER. This is a Challenger.
Also....the Confederate Battle Flag ran the length of the car's roof with the "X" inline with the car. This guy had one on his sunroof the opposite way.
Sheesh.....

This guy goes to the trouble to paint a 2 door Dodge sports car the right color and keep the rebel flag and all you can do is criticize?

I think it's dumb that dodge used the charger name for a 4 door.

Ditto on dumb move to put Charger on a 4 door.
Didn't Jeep come out with a General Lee Package on one of their Cj's years back?

Whats more offensive is the Honda V Twin/Harley knock-off parked next to it. ;)
Not really, Honda makes a good bike.

The General Lee's were 1969 Chargers. They had the sloped back window, which did work better on the Nascar circuit, but I prefer the '68 models with the squared off rear window.
Regardless, these old Chargers with the 440 magnum were absolute wheel roasters. Even the ones with the 383 were respectable. But these were B body (larger frames) and while still admirable, they were sleds compared to the big block A body's...the Dart and Challengers most notably. These were almost unbeatable, even hot rods like the Cobra and L88 Corvettes struggled to run with them.

So when I was young and good lookin I decided to build one. :cool:74Dart44000322.jpg
