Awesome movie. It's still in theaters and my wife and I went to see it today. This is one of those movies that is better watching on the big screen with the cinema loud speakers than on your television at home.
My wife and I are not Hollywood fans and don't go to movies at the theater much at all. We used to do so regularly 30+ years ago when we were dating and/or newlyweds. I think the last time I went to a movie at the theater was when I took my son to MIB 3 when he was 11 years old back in 2011. I may be wrong there but I think my timeline is nearly correct.
My wife wanted me to go since she's a Matthew McConaughey fan. The fact that he seems to be a conservative in Hollywood made it easier for me to oblige.
I was skeptical at first but once the movie got underway, I realized that it was a very good movie.
I would highly recommend this movie regardless of whether you choose to go to the movie theater to view it or you decide to watch it at home.
