They were in town at the Greensboro coliseum so we took my son and a friend tonight. I’d seen them on tv as a kid but had never seen them in person. We had a really good time.

The actual shooting wasn’t as good as the team of my youth who didn’t seem to ever miss but the ball handling and the showmanship were spectacular. Good wholesome family fun.

The way they interact with the crowd, especially the kids warmed my heart.

I saw them live in 1968, great showmanship, funny as all get out.
In person is the only way to see them as so much is going on on court.

Yeah I had quite a few legitimate laughs. There was one moment that brought tears to my eyes it was so random and funny.

Hard to do it justice but they reversed and then replayed a play in slow motion in real life so the ref could get a better look at the call which was funny in itself.

In the middle of the slow mo the leader of the HG says “oh no what are they doing” really drawn out and points to center court where one of the HG’s and one of the opposing team are lying on the court arm wrestling.

I about peed myself.

Saw them a few times when I was a young man. One of them lived in Clayton when I worked for the town and I worked with his brother. Got to hang out a couple times.

I saw them in the 80's, I'm not into basketball in the slightest bit but they put on one hell of a show, good times for sure.

Saw them when I was a kid. Must have been late '60's. American Icons. Are they still playing the Washington whatever's? :D
When I think if that era of my youth and bring amazed, I also think of the Blue Angels. ;)

Saw them recently when they were at the PNC Arena. If you are going to go watch a sports event live ever in your life, they should be on the top of the list.

We took our son and daughter to see them 7 or 8 years ago. They put on quite a show.
