Has good info on blueberries but there is an underlying message. Beatrice is good at those. You can make up your own mind.

The piece was interesting enough, but in reading the resulting comments, one in particular caught my eye from someone named James:

"Suppliers are in serious trouble. It isn’t making the news. I got off the phone with a supplier three days ago and I almost puked. If you are holding off buying any prepper items...DON’T. Order now and express ship. The time of selection is ending. The doors are closing. You are in serious danger. Get off the computer (unless you are ordering) and do something in the real world. Train, inventory, exercise, plan, pray."

And from Selco:

Find the local nurseries. They typically have the plants that can sustain here. The crap at Lowes and Tractor supply doesn't handle the summers well and usually is packed/watered poorly. We get between 15ish gallons of berries on 20 year old plants but every few years we plant more and every other Feb we trim them back. This year we expanded again and found nice 3 gallon pots for $20 each of locally grown plants 2ft tall, some they grew and have sustained a season or two in the pots and some brought in from around wilson/zebulon. Two or three varieties of rabbit eye (primer & tiffyblue), and another couple climax. This should keep them producing from early June through July.
