If you’re already paying for Netflix, you might as well watch it. Only reason I can think of.

Watch it last night to waste some time. It was ok but not super memorable.

When "tactical redundancy" was introduced in the story line I was thinking this was going to be a remake of the old movie, forget the name. Where nitroglycerin had to be delivered and 3 trucks were sent out. Turned out that was the only similarity.

i have a hard time watching liam's movies since he's such an anti-american hypocrite. it just breaks my immersion.
He hates America? What did he say?

Ijust watched the trailer, and it just doesnt look interesting to me. I do want to see that sharpshooter or whatever he's in

There was this big blow up a few years ago about him saying he was anti gun but making money off using guns in movies.

Ah, well that's not anti-American, that's just anti-gun.

Alot of holes ...recovery on ice with winch.... immersion scene...rigging for tow...
And if course the obligated evil corporate cover up ....
Meh ... time waster if that is what you want.
Liam has shown his true side re: anti 2A , despite his character roles usually involves weapons so there is that side of his face..

Not kicking anyone choices but I very seldom watch any hollywierd stuff anymore and all those in your face actors beating the the bs agenda I won't support by watching.
Just like the NFL and others they lost me forever.

Wasnt Trump anti-gun in his book? Not to derail, just saying, people change (or DID he change? lol)

There’s a lot of stuff on Netflix that is not Hollyweird or mainstream. There is a lot of foreign produced content too. I’ve watched series and movies from Brazil, Turkey, Italy, Russia, and others. There are other streaming services too, including free ones, where you can watch stuff from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 20s etc.

As far as Ice Road goes, it was an entertaining filler for an evening. Certainly not the worst or the best movie I’ve watched, but wasn’t a waste of time.

Yes we use Netflix too. You are correct we use some of the same you mentioned.
We/I may watch 3-4 hours a week summer times less.

I'm most of the way through it, and I have to say I wasn't that bothered to stop and go to bed.

Watched this morning while working on spreadsheets. Wouldn’t watch it again, but wouldn’t call it a waste of time. He’s really showing his age…haven’t watched a movie with him in it for several years, but he’s noticeably slower/stiffer than the last one I remember. (Not a huge surprise since he turns 70 on his next b-day)

Dave's review:

God, it sucked.
I will accept your review and avoid it.
Some fool at work was telling me I "had to watch it" yesterday, that sort of endorsement tends to lean me to a hard nope as well.
I've driven trucks, I've driven on ice roads, neither subject peaks my interest anyway.

Like most Hollywood stuff, one must suspend disbelief.
It is sort of a Ice Road Truckers meets Die Hard.
Of course the bad guy was Evil Corp. But 90+% of corporate billionaires donate to Big Gov democrats. Hollywood just tries to feed the lie about it being the opposite.

Recently we’ve been watching Vikings on Hulu. I think that’s like $6 per month. Ive sure gotten my money’s worth of entertainment from that.

Edit to add: in some ways, yes I know I am paying for a libtard based service, but by rejecting the popular “woke“ crap and watching off beat, international stuff I’m also sending a message.
