An old Sci Fi channel miniseries from 2006 now on You Tube as three, 2-hour episodes but you'll have to put up with a lot of commercials.
It is a weird but compelling SF/fantasy story about ordinary objects from an old Route 66 motel room that have (usually) extraordinary powers, for example, a key will take you through any door in the world but a watch only cooks hard boiled eggs. A good cabal is trying to round up the objects to protect mankind and of course a bad cabal is trying to get them all for nefarious purposes. I particularly like the bus ticket that will send you to a spot on a rural road in Gallup NM, instantaneously.
