Has anyone purchased or shot a Mepro Bullseye sight. I find it interesting in the fact no front sight is utilized. It is totally focused on the rear sight Mepro openly states it is not the best choice for shooting at a range over 10 yards. YT has many videos showing the idea behind it and it being tested by what I call the "gun influencers". All input valued here.

I have a red one on a g19. Meh, it is OK although a little gimmicky maybe. I shoot it fine I just prefer my large orange dot front sight with my vision these days.

I was not aware they made them in more colors than green, but hey now I know. What you say about it is exactly how I thought I would be as well. I focus on a front sight when practicing CQ self defense. I am thinking I would use it like a red dot optic and spend way too much time looking for the dot. Its a good idea in a perfect world but not sure how it would work out in reality. Thanks for your answer.

I have one on my fake-Glock.

Shown here when it was in my real-Glock.

It’s fast and GREAT for someone who has eye dominance problems. Both eyes open is no problem because the left eye cannot see the sight when it’s aligned with the right eye.

In bright light, it’s pretty cool.

The downside is that unless you are aligned with it, you can’t see it with the right-eye either. You can either see it, or you can’t. No “partial sight picture” like you get with somewhat-aligned iron sights.

All in all, it’s OK, but I regret spending the money on it. I’ll likely take it off and swap in something else. But it was fun to play with.
I understand there is no vertical adjustment other than shimming under the sight base? Does it tend to line up as a target sight or a combat sight, not that it matters much in a self defense situation.
