"The Purge of Babylon" book series.

Downloaded the first three audio books for a trip up to MD last week and enjoyed them a lot. I ended up listening to them while driving 2 hours back and forth from Salisbury to a landfill in Asheboro and then downloaded the next 2 books for the drive to MD and back.

It's kind of a mix of "The Walking Dead" and "The Strain". The ghouls take over the world in one night and there are pockets of resistance. I'm going to go the cheaper route and buy the rest of the 9 books on kindle and read them.

Shenanigans: Maryland doesn't take trash in; it only makes it.

Coming from a guy who was born there (before anyone gets mouthy, recognize where the Mason-Dixon line is!!!), and has watched a once nice place to live crumble into trash.

I read the first 6 books, and then started something else and haven't been back to the series. I enjoyed the ones I read. Pretty fun read.
