I didn't see a thread on this, and that makes me proud to be a member here. :)

But lets give it our usual roasting.
I'll go first.

The networks/msm/left wing PAC's are just about to have an orgasmic faint over this thing.
They are obsessed over make-believe stuff. Fantasyland, fairy tales, coins in the fountain.

Lets compare this to the coverage they will give the upcoming (maybe) Korean summit. Yeah, right.

I think we should all storm @NCLivingBrit house with torches and pitchforks.

We never watch TV at my house. I rolled out of bed to a blaring TV downstairs this morning. WTH??

You guessed it.

2nd, I doubt @NCLivingBrit cares either. He isn’t the problem. Give him a pitchfork too. :)
Well yeah I know that but it's standard procedure to rag on him about anything Brit.

I thought about going to the basement with it for extra fun, but then that leaves out the normal people on the forum.

Got up around 9 this morning so thankfully I missed most of it, but my wife started to to recap as soon as I sat down, going to the lgs now to escape, first customer to mention it has to turn in their man card and leave

I think it's neat, but Ive not seen a single second of coverage.
Good for her, to be a princess. All these little girls come up reading about it, fairytales etc - she did it. Right on.

If you have to carry a card stating it, you arent. lol

Rah Rah Lizzard Shit ...

Maybe the British love the Royals but I don’t care about the event. I will give the Royal family credit for being more dignified and classy than the stuff the US put out like say the Kerdashins or such ...

You can’t turn on the radio or TY ... open a newspaper (yes I still read a paper) ... without somes news and the one thing I did retain from the media blitz is that wedding will cost around $45million ... with 95% of it being SECURITY costs?

Wait...was the princess saved from a large, jumping, shell covered, fire spitting lizard by a stereotypical Italian plumber who breaks blocks with his head and likes to assault turtles by jumping on their backs and kicking them across the ground? :D

The wife read up on a little bit, but she says that since she's started watching "the crown" on netflix that seeing the wedding is like an advanced peek into a season of a TV show that hasn't been filmed yet.

I then asked if the sons of Ragnar were going to start killing everyone. Wrong show.

……… our ancestors left that dump for a reason. If you're into the royal wedding, maybe its time to move back.....pay your royal taxes and enjoy your tea and crumpets.

Fell asleep with fox news on amd woke up to some reverend bishop pastor dude quoting mlk and yelling love is the answer. Not a good way to start the day.

On the flip at least everybody forgot about santa fe and gun control for a bit

Heh.. yeah I saw that highlight... I was like man, now the Brits are getting some serious religion!

I will be glad to stop hearing about the thing and I’m sick of everything Meghan this and Meghan that. God help us if she is or gets knocked up. We will never hear the end of it.

aaaaaaaand were back to the shooter....

id rather hear about the wedding. and i dont give two well placed poops about that.

The Brits thought they were having a wedding but they had Church. lol. Might be the most uncomfortable the royals have looked since that Tea incident.

My wife DVR’d it, put on her favorite tiara, and watched the whole thing. Pre-game and all. The girl is living a cinderella story and people love that stuff. I say let them have their harmless fun. For me though, I would rather pick up dog turds than watch a wedding on TV... so that’s what I did.

The only thing I have kept up with is that she is not a princess and will never have that title. Prince Harry and her were given the titles of Duke and Duchess of Sussex before the wedding, so her title will be the Duchess of Sussex. Harry got two other titles, one of which was Earl of Dumbarton (really).

I flipped to foxnews and stumbled on the newlyweds and all presents including the American citizens singing “God save the queen”. Really!

David Feherty was doing an interview with Dan Patrick if (iirc) and he called the Royals nothing more than a bunch of pasty white inbreeds. That dude is crazy I just heard the story of how he lost the oldest trophy in Golf history after he won a tournament in 1987.

1st, I don’t care. Would have said something else but this isn’t tortuga.

I've never understood the veneration of a bunch of inbred buggers whose ancestors happened to be the most successful murdering bastards. So yeah put me down for a torch and a pitchfork and a length of hemp rope.

Can you please identify these normal people on the forum?

Well there's @Miss Lily and you got um..well uh..

Who says I am normal?

I watched a bit of the "pregame" this a.m., whilst I was preparing to go teach a CCH class. ]

There is a bit of facsination there. Once upon a time, all little girls dreamed of finding their Prince. Fortunately, after a brief spell with a frog, I found my Prince and will live happily ever after.

I saw a little, with my wife. Pretty scenery, I dig the uniforms and ceremony, but I don't give a crap about the sovereign/royalty. I appreciate the princes stepped up and served. That raises their esteem in my eyes more than anything.
