The Royal Wedding

The Brits thought they were having a wedding but they had Church. lol. Might be the most uncomfortable the royals have looked since that Tea incident.
My wife kept saying that the look on most Brit's faces was as if they had just smelled a rank fart. :D

Between the sermon and the gospel choir, they didn't know what was going on. I will say it was a very nice rendition of Stand By Me. Must've heard that song a dozen times around the house today while she had it on.

I.....don't.....care.....

I hope the prince and his new bride have a happy marriage and raise lots of good kids. I really do. But, I don't give a flip about their royal wedding.

All the pomp and circumstance is kind of cool, until one remembers that from the once greatest sea-faring colonial power in the world, the current government's advice to it's citizens is to "Run, Hide, Tell". Without a radical change, England is lost. :( It is also illegal to defend yourself.

A couple of posters have mentioned about 'church'. That is in fact correct. The Royals are by default, members of the Church of England, the Episcopal Church. The Bishop, who gave the Gospel, is Bishop Currie, who was Bishop of the Episcopal Church of Central North Carolina. He was promoted to the national position just a year or so ago. So in fact, we Episcopalians have our own connections to the Royal Wedding. :D Almost all 'special occasions' are in fact, just modifications of the normal church service for us. So they were in fact, in church.

I set my alarm for 4am so I could officially NOT GIVE A CRAP! She's not even pretty. And all that BS about diversity. Really?

I liked the Jaguar. And I only knew about that from a news blip on the TV. Couldn't care less about their weddings or births.

My favorite thing about royalty is when the peasants parade them down the street before the beheading.
I'm sure they have plenty of armed security while their "subjects" are being raped by "refugees".

I’ll be much more interested in the next coronation. Not because Queen Elizabeth will have shuffled off this mortal coil, but because there hasn’t been a coronation since the 50’s and everyone still seems to hate Charles. Ought to make for halfway decent TV.

It’s a shame the men in that family aren’t more like Prince Phillip.
