The Strongest Man in History

I remember watching some of the strong men competitions when I was younger.
Not really interesting to me anymore, but you cant deny the strength of lifting almost 2800lbs with no help...incredible

This is the only show I actually make time for. The wife and I are really enjoying it. It was pretty impressive to watch Shaw carry the Dinnie Stones over the bridge in the last episode.

Remember when The History channel actually did real history stuff? Good times.

History contains far too many awkward truths for our current political overlords and their globalist backers to want us to know much of it.

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day be day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except the endless present in which the party is always right."

That passage from 1984 was not only prophetic, it's going on right now as we watch. The very meaning of words and culture are being twisted and perverted by an almost monolithic cult of powerful companies and besuited liars determined to force the entire world to their mindset and "values". Our governments use 1984 as a playbook while most of us look on and shrug and those who don't are slandered and vilified by a shrill chorus of harpies and spewers of propaganda not too far removed from the Two Minute Hate.

So yeah, instead they feed us game shows and "reality" TV that bears no trace of any such thing.

It's a fun show. I like that they are challenging some famous historical records and recreating legendary feats of strength. You really don't get to see the personality of a Brian Shaw on tv during events so that was refreshing too.

Another good one is fullsterker. It centers on Iceland, their cultural association with strength, and their famous stone lifting. About 1.5 hours long, though you aren't missing much if you skip the first 30 mins.
