I happen to catch the first show on HBO and now I just finished Episode 3.
I remembered a little bit about Allison Mack and some dude getting arrested for human trafficking and branding but I didn't know it was all Cult type stuff.
MXIXM or "The Foundation" was about people seeing the world through different eyes... and slowly they roll into secrets and enrollment.
The interesting thing about this is that the foundation of this group was Recorded for Posterity by a guy named Mark who was a TV/Movie Producer when it started. All recorded, videoed and chronicled over 12 years.
Allison Mack was the Actress on Smallville, had other actresses from BattleStar Galatica (Asian Chick that was a Cylon)etc....
Amazing show.. and watching the recordings of their meetings and seminars you can easily frickin see that it is setting people up to take advantage of them. There is a personality type that is very similar of all the people that are duped...
I highly recommend.
