The Wall with John Cena and two other guys (pretty much), an Amazon Original movie.

Yes, it has the wrestler, well, sorry, WRASTLER John Cena in it...But its actually really good.

I thought the story was pretty good.

Really it only had three actors in it and two settings, but I really liked it.
War movie (think its set in 2004) in a sense.

It might be awesome, but nothing should ever be named “the wall”. PF owns that forever.
 
6/10 on IMDB, 67% Rotten, 1.5/4 Rog&Eb... That's a solid PASS... Too little time for such movies unless I have some kind of geek interest in it...
 
Just watched it today, and give it a 6/10. I didnt have my hopes up for a good movie with it only having 1 setting, but they turned it into something decent. I was also surprised Cena wasnt the main character. The ending caught me off guard.
 
Yeah, I dont think its fantastic/great, but Id put it at about a 7 for the ending etc

I never look at imdb ratings, rotten tomatoes etc etc - those are all people's opinions. I've, personally, never rated a movie online like that, and sure that most dont, so I cant go by SOME people's opinions that I do not know

I watched it b/c I tend to like war movies, but IMDB's 6 is about right - better than watching paint dry, but not worth the time given the plethora of entertainment options.

You've made this argument before. What you're overlooking is that an average rating swamps the idiosyncrasies. IMDB's 6 for this movie is an average of 12k votes.

Your argument is akin to saying that in deciding between Brand X and Brand Y of a particular item on Amazon, you won't factor in that Brand X has a 5-star rating while Brand Y has a 1-star rating, both with over 100 reviews going into that rating, because those ratings come from people you don't know.
