Good morning Gents,

I was sharing some news with Butter the other day, and he encouraged me to make a post about it.
My bride of 32 years, Rhonda, has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. We are ending the testing phase, and will soon be making a treatment plan. Test show three small tumors in her left breast, and the closest lymph node is also positive, so there are cells floating around out there. We are probably looking at a mastectomy, chemo, and radiation.
Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. God has got this! We are already giving God praise for healing her, just don't know what we're gonna go thru get there.
Thanks so much, Frank.

Lord, you know all things, you can do all things. Comfort and bless Rhonda with healing.

You two are at the base of Mount Everest with a long journey ahead to reach your goal. It certainly will not be an easy road but take comfort in knowing that many before you have succeeded and with God’s help you two will too.
Praying for you two and can’t wait to see at the top!

Prayers sent,

Prayers sent. My mother in law recently had the same diagnosis. She's doing well after her treatment has been completed, finally getting her strength back. Just hang in there, this diagnosis isn't as bad as what it used to be.

You and yours are in my thoughts. Several years ago, both my sisters were diagnosed with breast cancer within a month of each other. Today, after extensive treatments, they are both healthy, happy, and living good lives. Plenty of hope out there.

Keeping you all in our prayers.

Matthew 9:22
22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

1 Peter 2:24
24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

My thoughts and prayers are with your wife and you.

Well wishes to both of you. While scary, and the treatment isn't necessarily pleasant, cancer is no longer the killer it used to be.

Stay strong brother, your wife is going to need you to be that way.
Don't give up.

Prayers up.
Thankfully you are in the US where survival rates are higher than any other country.
(But you will not hear that fact from the Red Brigade running for 2020.)

May the Lord bring you strength, healing and comfort through this.

My MIL is currently fighting ovarian cancer, I had prostate cancer surgery in October 16. We have several friends who are in different stages of the battle.
Stay positive, stay active, get second opinions. Most importantly pray, seek out a GOD focused church and, know that while we do not understand the battles we face, there is a reason. We will add you and your family to our prayer list at home.

I'm sorry to hear this. I've been through it. It's hard and scary, but you guys can do it.

If she wants to talk to someone who's done it, PM me and I'll send you my number.

The big thing for us was having a sense of humor. Sounds nuts, but some crazy s**t happens during treatment, and some of it you just have to laugh about!

PS If they say she'll need a lot of nodes out, get another opinion to be sure. If you start carving up the under-arm area, you increase the risk of lymphedema, and then things can get really bad. You have to weigh things up as to what your quality of life will be, taking age into account....a lot of things have to be considered.

If I can help, I'd be happy to talk to her, or to you, or both of you.

Incoming Prayers!

Prayers for you and your wife. Best thing you can do for her is let her know that if she loses both breasts to this disease, that is not the part of her that you love and care about.

My grandmother and my sister both had breast cancer. Both of the them beat it.

Lord heal this woman. Allow her to live a full life, cancer free. Amen.

Frank, it was good to talk to you yesterday morning. Thanks much for your call and information.

I said a prayer for Rhonda as soon as we hung up. I'll continue to do so.

Persevere brother!

Scott

Prayers for a total healing and full recovery.

We'll keep her and yourself in our thoughts and prayers sir.

Thanks so much guys for the good words and prayers, I will pray the scriptures you've shared over her tonight!
Should have a report on the PET scan tomorrow, and three consultations coming up in the weeks ahead.
Again, so blessed to be part of this family, hope to see many of you in at Billy's in Oct! May even bring the Bride down and we'll have a prayer over her.
Frank
