I've always wanted one of the Ring of Fire guns and @Surveyor 's epic BST ad for his Raven finally spurred me to action. Since @Amps 13 beat me to the punch on that one the hunt was on. Stumbled across this one last week on the list of arms and was fortunate enough to complete the transaction before the lockdown started. Wasn't able to convince the seller to meet behind the Stop & Rob but we did meet at a Walmart so it's almost as good. I wanted it in a rolled up paper bag but couldn't negotiate that. Instead it came with a nice zippered case and a box of ammo! It's in pretty good shape for a gun that's 30-40 years old. I would like to find out a production date but that is proving problematic. It has the slide type safety versus the lever style so I know it's an earlier production but that's about as much as I know.
All I need now are a couple of women with questionable morals, a hat with a feather and a fly ride and I'll be set to start pimpin.

I'm thinkin bout a Jiminez .22
I traded Curt a 'Jiminez JA22' one time years ago for some leather work (a holster IIRC) check with him he may still have it laying in a drawer in his workshop ;)
What's funny is I traded 3 bricks of 22LR for that Jimenez when it was $15 a brick ;)

I got a used jiminez .22 many years ago. First time i shot it, the plastic piece on the back that lets you know its cocked flew out the back and hit me in the forehead...It took me a minute to realize the gun didn't bitch slap me for asking it to work. I sold it to a buddy still missing the part with full disclosure. He said it went off by itself on his nightstand in the middle of the night while he was asleep... Freaked him out and he sold it to a pawnshop. On a positive note, I will say that when the mag catch spring fell out of a jiminez 9, i saw a guy at the range stuff a piece of cotton in the frame and it held the mag tight enough to function and release as it should...i couldn't believe it, but it worked for the rest of his range session. I also had a raven just the one above. I didnt shoot it much, but when i did it worked flawlessly. Sold it for 150$ with box and 2 mags.

Nice find! At first I had an issue with it going into battery after first shot. Found out I was holding my hand too far up and slide was ever so slightly hitting me. Lowered my grip and issue is gone. There is an abundance of spare parts if needed on eBay. Love mine and accurate for a small barrel. We need to put our feather caps on, grab a few hoes and take your pink caddy to the range!

Nice find! All that's missing from your picture is a couple lines of "baking power".

That’s not a ghost ring sight ... it’s a brown dot sight. :p
Thanks for clearing that up. And here I was thinking that it was a bowl ring sight.

If you want an extra mag or two you can get factory mags for $12.50 here: https://www.phoenix-arms.com/collections/magazine-components/products/raven-magazine
This place has just about any other part you could want: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/gun-manufacturer/raven/mp25

Got one just like it. Mine might not be quite as nice, but it shoots every time.

Years and years ago, I was working at a gun shop and a guy came in with a Raven in 25 wanting to sell it for $50. The owner declined and walked out, I followed him out the door and offered him $20 for it in the parking lot..He took the offer and I had the gun for a number of years as a pocket piece it and it actually worked quite well. Dont remember what happened to that gun,, think I gave to an ex girlfriend..

At one point in my life I was the owner of a Davis P-380. It was not a high point in the timeline.

I'm guessing these fit the category.
Top: Berstenberger .32 s&w lg
Bottom: Accu- Tec .380
The .380 is pretty snappy and drew blood first time i shot it. Not sure if I'm brave enough to try the ' BergerView attachment 200671
That top pic looks like a RG .22 short my brother-in-law had.

When I was in high school some friends and I went to a gun show . On the way home I stopped at a stop sign and hear a bang bang click from the back seat. Rang my bell pretty good. The kid in the back seat whom I had met a couple of times shot at the stop sign . I'm like " where the hell did you get a gun?" . He had stolen a Raven 25 off one table and some .25 ACP ammo off another table. Last time I ever saw that idiot although he did go on to become a cop I heard.

Some of us did live long enough to grow out of stupid.

*raises hand*

While not a in the same classification, I've always wanted one of the little Bauer (Baby Browning) .25's...

I am honored by the tag, and the thought that I may be the inspiration for a viral trend of quarter bore throw downs with a cabbage roll in the driver's seat may be a better legacy than I deserve.

While I am savvy to the world of the Raven 25, having owned a vehicle with fuzzy dice, carpeted interior and multiple VIN numbers, as well as a posse of skanks, I now find myself firmly in the world of black & white (& gray), and cars with suicide doors, guys with trench coats, dusky vixens, and the infamous dingus, while sporting one of JB's finest....IMG_20200401_072425244.jpg

I think trcubed used to carry one of those when he wasn’t packing a G34.
I carried one for years. always went bang and easily appeared in the face of a few bad guys that needed to reevaluate their life decisions. it's one of the ones my wife likes and she keeps it handy these days.
