Glad these SOBs got caught in Utah. Folks, make sure you have redundant levels of surveillance on your property. Putting a game came up high in conjunction with another one is always a great idea to capture scumbags like these 2, or the actual game you're hunting ;)

The fact that she is a public employee comes as zero surprise to me. Taxpayer fed leeches abound in Utah, NC and all places they're found.

Park City is a spendy liberal tourist town. Quite a few celebs have homes there if that tells you anything.

Buddy here caught some people stealing his stands with cameras. Used facebook to share the pictures and had an arrest in a few hours. The kid (18-19yrsold) had done it before and would not admit it was him even with the pictures. When given a chance to apologize etc he would not so he had him charged and arrested.

The trick now is to get the cameras with the cell phone chip inside and the pictures get sent as soon as they are taken. This way even if they steal the camera the picture is already sent.

Academy is selling 2 of these types of cell cams for under 150 on BF

Do they require a cell/data plan?

yes.
the "cell-phone" trail cams that i know about, do.

secondly:
"Putting a game came up high in conjunction with another one is always a great idea.."

personally, i put them up in threes.
originally, i did it that way because one camera would get what the others didn't.
i wasn't even thinking about damage or theft, but now i do. just had one stolen
last month. yes, i have all the proof the law will need IF they want to use it.

which leads to this: you and i are "imaged" just about everywhere.
my wife is on Google Earth hanging up clothes on our clothesline.

Yet another example of folks trying to decide what they believe to be best for others and using thievery as a means to accomplish it..."We don't like hunting, so you shouldn't be able to hunt."

F' em:mad:

Disbar her and toss em both in the slammah.

This situation is precisely why I am part of the Libertarian plot to take over the world, then, leave everyone alone.

I’ve used trail cams around the house when I thought there was stuff happening that shouldn’t be. I took care of the issue myself and it worked out in the end.

Spypoint gives 100 free photos a month, Moultrie charges $5.

When I read the original story the first thing that went through my head was, "it'll be plead down and nothing will happen to them". Sure as the sky is blue here we are.

You got blue sky there?

Who could have imagined this outcome?

I haven't dealt with the law personally, but I am wondering in this plea deal, would the victim who had his property stolen have to agree to this plea deal? There's no way I'd let them get off that easy.

What a way to ruin a reputation. Dumped by Black Diamond, a long sponsor.
Dudes an awesome climber and extreme skier. Was with Alex Lowe when he died, and others. He's well known in that community. Don't understand what he has against people harvesting their own meat? Seems like it would be right up his alley.

At any rate:
