I'm thinking of building a 22 Nosler upper. The performance numbers of this cartridge are almost at 22-250 levels. There's an article in this months American Rifleman, and it's impressive. What are your thoughts on the 22 Nosler?
I don't have a reason for it either, but that hasn't stopped me yet!!A very interesting chambering. I don't have a reason for it but it's definitely moving!!
Yes I've been reloading for 20+ years, and I see a bunch of potential in this cartridge. Midway already has Nosler brass in stock, and the bullets, primers, and powders I've got already will work with it.Are you a reloader? If not, then I would suggest getting something you can find on the shelf.
Just checked, and Midway has 18" stainless barrels for $140. They also have several brands of dies in stock. I've already got a Toolcraft BCG itching for a home!Do it! Lol it would be a fun caliber to play with.

I saw the same article, and it has me interested in a 22 Nosler build as well.
Yeah, I saw the reviews for that. I would rather spend double to get a good, accurate barrel. Otherwise, why bother.I'll probably go with the ARP barrel, the AR Stoner from midway has mediocre reviews. I've got some Federal Fusion 62 grain bonded projectiles that I think would be good deer medicine with this cartridge.
I just ordered my ARP barrel, and there are 7 left in stock. Harrison, the owner says it will probably be next year before he gets any more, so y'all better move quick if you want one.working on one now, need the bcg, charging handle and a stock assy. used the 20" arp as well, I was curious as well after reading the American rifleman review.
