I live in Greenville, SC, and I have a S&W 10-6 revolver that is in need of refinishing. Was looking for a cerakote job. Any suggestions on someone close?

I'm wondering how well a ceracote job would hold up on a revolver.

I've never had a revolver refinished. What are some other options, other than reblueing? Not that I'm opposed to that.

You're exactly right. A quick internet search confirmed your suspicion.

Anyone do hard chrome or nickel plating?

I don't have a local resource, but a buddy once sent an older mdl 15 back to S&W because the timing/lockup was a bit loose. It got reblued it while there, no idea if that was an add-on & $$ or if they just did it, but it was gorgeous when it was returned.

Thought this was an ad for a new TV show. "This Old Gun".

    Hey that's an idea!
