Take a second to remember the men and women who were in the two most pivotal battles of World War 2.

I am still amazed that D-Day was a success. My paternal Grandfather landed on Omaha beach, first wave. He was with the 5th Ranger Battalion attached to the 29th Infantry Div. He made it inland, all the way to St. Lo, where he was shot in the back by a female German sympathizer. Never trust them women boys....they can be colder than the meanest man.
Anyway, his buddies wounded her, drug her out beside him, and let him put her out of his misery.
