So ran across this and it is a distributed network that no one person controls. You can create your own feeds by simply adding # to a word. So a firearm "stream" to your network is as easy as typing in #firearm and subscribing, like trump #trump. whatever. It is optimized for mobile phones so it is a web only site. So far I am liking this because they won't ban you for speaking truth. Please give this a try. TWitter and facebook have got to go. You can create your own stream too I assume. May try one for my family. Get enough people going and twitter dies on the vine.

I am of the opinion that wherever there is enough money there is censorship..... All small(ish) sites tout freedom and non censorship, but the minute they are big enough and enough money is throw around for advertising, promotion, overhead, then it becomes inevitable because all those parties have an agenda.

I forgot Discord. It would be fine for your family. I'm in groups with hundreds of members, not sure what the cap is. They might get a bit ban the gun nut on you though.
