As a parent, I simply can’t imagine having to be in this situation. The thoughts and prayers of me and mine with them and theirs. May God grant the child and family strength and put a conviction on the responsible person’s heart to come forward.
 
Why was another link inserted into the text of the OP? @Millie mentioned she saw this elsewhere today too.
 
It sucks that the kid in Chicago was shot in a car ... maybe gang or some crime related shooting I’d guess ... the twist to this little girl appears to be from just stupidity from a careless idiot. Prayers for both ... prayers for justice in both while there might be different circumstances behind the pulling of the triggers both are accountable.

Oh Lordy, I've finally lost my mind!

Oh! I did mention in chat that I've had some weird things happening in the forum: when clicking on something ("like" or "new posts") I end up going to a new page, and there are blue/underlined random words in posts that are like links....odd!

It breaks the heart to see a story like this. Just awful to happen to a child.
 
I’ve got a neighbor...shoots into a bank behind his house. Only problem is there is a house right behind the bank! I’ve told the idiot that it’s not a place to shoot and it’s even illegal to shot that close to a dwelling. He thinks it’s safe. He’d better be glad it’s not pointed MY way because he’d see some lead coming back! 5.56 within rock throwing distance of his neighbor. Dumbazz!

The link was in the yahoo article, redirects to another child shooting article. I edited my post to fix that.
 
My apologies; I thought something on the website was looking for keywords and redirecting traffic.
