Today I remained positive by..

Because they would have benefitted from my entiry selfish act of saving my own behind lmao

I'm getting to the point I'd leave them to it if I see a way out. Not that I carry any more, had to sell all the handguns.

I rarely have a truly bad day at work.
Most days are just normal.
Yesterday wasnt.
Two things:
a) Have a student which I think Ive mentioned before on here - sweet kid, not really emotionally stable, but as a whole a nice sweet young man with a smile on his face.
He recently came home to find his father dead by suicide.
I was told yesterday that he is supposed to come by the school today to see a counselor, but he's asked if he could see me. No other teacher, no other staff member, wants to see me. WOW.

b) The other week was teacher appreciation week, they asked seniors to write letters to teachers. Completely voluntary.
I had nothing.
Yesterday one of the ladies up front came by, they forgot to drop off two letters for me.
Emotionally, it was a very high day, very moving.

Days like that, makes me know Im doing the right thing.

Hell yes.

Thank you taking the challenge of educating the next generation. There are a few teachers on here accepting that challenge every day. God bless you all.
My wife taught middle school math in Boston. Some of her best days were when past students came back to visit her and thank her for challenging them. So many came and told her they were doing honors math in high school because she taught them how to learn (not teach to test).
She did some elementary tutoring in McClainsville a couple years. 8 week contracts. The kids she tutored didn't want to leave and go back to regular class.
She wishes she could still work but that is not really an option any more.

Today I had to laugh a little.
1.Info from customer backed up my position regarding design. That was cool.
2. The "stalker" is on my antenna tuner team. Didn't know that until I got pulled into the meeting, by the stalker. (she isn't actually a stalker. Thought it funny that she was the only one besides me in the office that Saturday)

...knowing I was improving my body a little bit by going for a long walk and jog, even though I'd have rather just hung out here at the house.

...cleaning up the Timbuk2 messenger bag I found in a dumpster...NEW. I looked it up, its regularly 120 bucks from them. I had to scrub just a little to get some clay out of a few places on exterior, interior perfect.

...started preparing for the new soccer season and feeling really good about this new coach we got

Woke up at 0400, got out of bed, dropped to my knees and thanked God for another day on earth. It's off to a great start if I can be successful at dodge ball and keep everyone else from screwing it up.
Today is my planning day (I don't work on Friday's) for the next 2 days. I plan to shoot some skeet or sporting clay's on Sat and see if LJ has anything she wants to do on Sunday. She's been on the road (ATL, Charleston, SAV, Richmond) all week so she will most likely veg all weekend which is her recharge time.
So unless I drop dead of something it's off on the right foot. Pray for me.....

Picked up my son that arrived at 1am this morn from a art project he was flown and put up in a 5 star hotel in Singapore for a week to paint the architect's vision to sell the new Changi Airport. The current one is rated the best one in the world.
He was able to work alongside one of the top architect's and Steven Spielberg's art director for multiple movies.
Proud Papa of a very talented 23 year old, God's good!

It’s my Friday and I didn’t kilt anyone all week.
I'm sure it's very stressful to get a skirt on a man. :p
