Tolet paper shortage

Notice no one is making runs on actual seeds to grow food.
I had mine already planted in January so they'll be ready to plant out soon.

On TP, We had like a months' supply already (maybe 6 weeks). So far I've been out twice and seen packs, grabbed one each time, so we're staying ahead.

I went to the grocery store last night. Not a single roll of TP to be had. They were also completely out of paper towels, paper napkins, paper plates, and oddly enough COFFEE FILTERS. Every size of coffee filter, and every brand. Gone. Either people are thinking they can make masks with them, or they're planning to wipe their behinds with them.

I have enough TP to last me a few weeks, but I'm getting to that point where I normally buy more.

Grocery store was also sold out of spaghetti noodles and tomato sauce, hamburger meat, and hotdogs. Not a single hotdog to be had in the store. Bread wasn't too shabby, and there was plenty of lunch meat.

Oddly enough I was handed my "home sewn" mask at work today and instructed on how to insert the coffee filter inside it. Um.....everything we buy is being touched by lord knows who as well as when made/packaged.....so....really....what are we preventing here? No...I'm not wearing the mask at work. I work in a locked area that I am the only one in....

I got this toilet paper shortage solved.

Lidl has had tp in stock 2 out of the last 3 times I’ve been there. I’ve picked up an 18 pack and 12 pack over the past week on grocery runs there. Also, yesterday they had wipes, that’s unheard of lately.

If in years past someone came to you and said in your future will at one time a shortage of ammo as well as toilet paper who would have guessed our present delima, not me!

Costco seems to be getting TP fairly consistently. They had tons of Charmin yesterday afternoon. Limited to one 30-roll pack per customer.

Wally World Apex had TP, ppr towels and tissues. 1 per customer, and at the register there was a burka clad foreigner had 3 packs of ppr towels and 3 packs of TP. Of coarse no employees had the balls to call her on it.

I heard reports of lots and lots of TP being available at the big flea market in Lexington over the weekend. All priced at 10x normal.

Saw a piece on Live PD where they trespassed a clown selling $60 cases out of his car in a shopping center parking lot. He was dumbfounded because he was “just trying to help people out”.

Kinda of hit and miss. We have probably 50 rolls but with 3 girls in the house that about 3 days worth. I actually picked up a 20 pack this weekend at a local Walmart and rode it around for about 10 minutes and then went and put it back. Thought someone else might really need it

You sir are a true American hero.

I have no problem with this. If the prices were higher there would be more toilet paper available for people who actually needed it.

This makes no sense, unless a genius salesman from a ppr mfg started this by posting the sky's falling TP shortages.
Don't most folks realize they have A SHOWER within 10' from their crapper?

This crossed my mind more than once yesterday as I spent the day prepping for my endoscopy and colonoscopy this morning. Spent so much time on the seat the tp may as well have been sandpaper. The shower probably would have felt better.

Yep. Through careful application of Meta Mucil, I've trained my butt to take care of business every morning. Then straight to the shower.
It's not just a COVID thing, a roll of TP lasts me about a month.
Yup, coffee in the morning gets it over with, then shower.
