I've been shooting my MKIII a bunch the last couple weeks. It's amazing how accurate that little gun is with open sights at 30-40 yards on squirrels that are eating the blueberries and tomatoes

I've never ever seen a squirrel eat a tomato

Ive picked about 75 to 100 in the past couple days. I get so many that maybe I don't notice it.

Little bastards are eating them green, half ripe, they don't discriminate. They'll take one the size of my fist and run up a tree with it and thrown down what they don't want

Speaking of the little furry bastards, I haven't had an apple from my tree in almost 3 years. They cut them off the branch long before their ripe enough to eat. Then they eat maybe 6 or 8 bites and leave it on the ground for the yellow jackets to pick at. Makes walking under that tree a real adventure! I had 1 this year that was almost ripe so I took it inside to finish and I'll be damned if LJ didn't beat me to it!!!
I don't get no respect!!

So back on topic....Winchester M22s better be cheap because they are dirty and almost as inconsistent as Rem Goldhen Bull$hits. So glad I bought 2K...[emoji19]
For plinking, I stopped buying anything that isn't CCI blazer. It's basically a 40 gr CCI minimag with a lead bullet. Can usually find them for 5 cpr.

Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Blazers and Aguila standards are 4 to 5 cent a round shipped.. I'll start using them right after I finish my supply of golden turds lol

The problem with shooting plain lead 22lr in this wheelgun is it deposits lead on the top strap of the frame badly, otherwise I would shoot blazer or CCI SV since they're consistant.
M-22s were 5 cpr with free shipping so o figured i would try a few bricks. About the cheapest 40gr CPRN i could find but i think im gonna switch back to Fed blue 525.
36gr HP just shoot high out of this fixed sight revolver, whereas 40gr are dead on usually.

I know I know, some people would kill to get 1000rds of anything cheap a year or 3 ago.

Seriously, this stuff was smoky, and had several light near-squib level rounds. Glad I was shooting it out of something that has a manual action.
