Anybody have experience with either of these? I have used WMD Guns in my other 2 builds but I'm looking for something a little cheaper this go round. Looking at the NiB toolcraft for $99 or the TiN aim surplus for $119. This will be a suppressed build so I'm trying to stick with coatings that are easy to clean

I have a few AIM BCGs, 2 NiB, 1 being lightweight, and they're great. They have a lifetime warranty and AIM has great support in my experience.

I do recall seeing that on Arfcom but I thought it was their first gen BCG's. I may be wrong tho.

Regardless, I know I can get a quality BCG from AIM at a very competitive price and it's backed by them. I'd much rather go this route than buying a PSA (no support) or XYZ brand from a reseller because they often end up passing the buck back and forth.

Could be the case, I didn't look at the dates of the posts or youtube vid. Toolcraft also has a lifetime warranty. Seems like either way is good to go, just was curious if any of yall had first hand experience.

Oh cool, didn't know about toolcraft's warranty. Then I would agree, you probably are gtg either way.

I have an AIM nickle boron bcg in one of my builds and have no complaints.

I got mine from Tom's Tactical, same price with free shipping. I haven't seen it in action yet, still looking for a cheap 20" barrel.
When I checked Tom's it was a few bucks more. Either way, if Tom's has it for the same with free shipping, winner winner.

I ended up ordering a NiB toolcraft from joebobs. It was $10 more than the NiB on right to bear but I ordered a few more things with it from joebobs and didn't want to worry about multiple packages coming from all over and it was free shipping. I ordered at 2am and just got an email with a tracking number earlier this morning

Free shipping but to doesn't say it's a 158 carrier. Hmmm. I'm sure it is. Either way, it's toolcraft, lifetime warranty. http://www.tomstactical.com/toolcraft-bcg-bolt-carrier-group-black-nitride-ar-15-m16-5.56-223

I looked up the 158 (since I wasn't sure what this was referring to) and it's milspec steel correct? They have another offering made from 9130 which slightly surpasses 158 in strength from what I read. Unless I'm running full auto (and even then) I highly doubt I would ever see a failure from either.

I mixed tool craft nitride carrier with phosphate bolts. I like it.

I’ve got Toolcraft nitride and AIM NIB BCG’s, and they’re all gtg. Toolcraft at one time was the supplier for Colt BCG ‘s, but I don’t know if they still are.
