Not sure where to post this but does anyone know of a tractor mechanic in the Greensboro or Reidsville area? I've got a tractor that needs a new clutch put in and it's not something I want to try myself.

How big of tractor? And do they need to do it at your place or can you haul it to there shop? I know a couple people to send you depending what you need.

Buy some beer and some rolling stands. You’ll get help

Not sure what you're looking for as far as how big but it's not a large tractor. It can easily fit in my garage if that helps. If someone can come here and do it it would be easier because I do not have a trailer to transport it. If someone has a trailer to transport it then I can take it somewhere.

Size was just looking for make or model or hp range to see who to recommend and weather it needed to be someone on site. A bigger 80-100 hp tractor is more to move or deal with obviosly so was trying to get a idea. Have couple diesel mechanic friends that do work on side that can do it in there shops at night pretty easily but they do not usually do road work. Also have some others that are road mechanics but they usually charge more since they run a service truck and work onsite.

Ah
It is a old Yanmar 2500 and I think it's 25hp.

Ditto on recommendation... ford 3000 diesel has front end loader on it 1968 model, 'stuck' clutch and won't release... two stage.
