Pirate, don't you need about three more lightweight, easy to shoot longbows? I've got a Big Five, A Ron Maulding (that Bob Wesley won the '82 championship with), and a Schultz American that I'm looking to re-home. You know they/you need others to play with!

I was shooting my Howard Hill Big 5 (53@27) today as a matter of fact! Your offer is tempting but I am tapped out here after the holiday spending frenzy.

Pirate, I'm a traditional guy also. I shoot stuff I make and a Fisher longbow. Looks like we are not far apart either, I'm about 15 miles out of Fuquay. I'll post some pics when I get home.

You got those listed somewhere? Always wanted to try traditional. Your's may be a bit too upper end for a beginner though.

Howdy Snal, no Sir, I don't have them listed anywhere. I just knew that Pirate would enjoy them as much as I have. I was just joshing him about the "lightweight" part of the post. They are, in weight from top to bottom: 82#@28", 80#@28", and the lightest one is 65#@28". I'm looking for $500 for the three of them together. My shoulder is trashed.

When I use to shoot trad archery (always got a kick out of somebody saying "can you hit anything with that thing" and I reply back " yeah I took my training wheels off a long time ago") I was about the only one that shot in my northwest area.....they was a few around brushy mountain that would wear me out....
