Transformation Tuesday!

Got one bracket cut then the doc cut me lol.

Surgery went well no tattoos were cut!

Looking like no riding for a few months unfortunately 😕

She can't get much lower than this! Waiting for a black trim ring to button it all up. Doc said to give it 4 weeks to ride...

Here she sets... going to run it once my arm is healed enough then take it off for the summer. If it works well I'm going to repair a small crack and paint it. The speakers might get some upgrades before it goes back on for next year's chilly riding season.

Don't think I've shared this prior...I like to remove the heel shifter add a spacer and move the floorboards out with this kit. My modest 11EE's for comparison.

Pulled the batwing fairing today and put the Memphis Shades back on. Next winter I'll mess with it again....she's getting motor work then and will be down for a month or so.

Swapped the tail light after the cheapy let me down again (diodes disconnecting from the board). Also swapped in an eagle light fender tip to match the blacked out lights.

Thems some ugly assed toes,
I was gonna post that, but then I thought he might take it as a challenge, and I’d have to post mine.

Nobody wants to see mine.

I hate feet, I hate the look of toes.. My wife asked me long time ago,, rub my feet ?? Oh heck No !! For me,, even the most perfect women's body end at the ankles. I hate looking at my own darn feet but I'm happy to have them.

Don’t make us page gunbelt.

For twenty dollars I won’t tag him.

New cam bearings installed...fuel moto emailed a tune for my set up (free service for life when you buy a tuner from them). Had one cam bearing roller slip out and presumably in the case so waiting for oil pump screens vs pulling and splitting the case. 20231220_115646.jpg20231220_115715.jpg

I don't understand what I'm looking at or what its supposed to look like. I'm guessing that the left cam bearing had a shield like the right side did and it fell into the crank area ?

One of the roller bearings got away from me and gell into the left side case. It would take alot for it to get into the oil pump but I took extra precautions and installed a screen to keep it for being an issue.

Glad it worked out good for you .. I love it when things happen for the good.

Decided to pick up a 10" long ride Windscreen to see how it did diverting the wind up some. It performed no better than the $20 ebay 8" I had on it. The wind does come up higher directly off the screen but dips back down right into my visor. If I was shorter and sat closer up the back of the tank it would probably be OK but then visibility would be bad.
If anyone wants to try it out let me know.

Installed the lower 6.5s....still working on an amp mount inside the fairing.
Hit the road with my wife yesterday for a ride up to Edenton. After the cam install bike was getting poor milage....dropped from 39 to mid/low 20s. I saw dramatic change with her on and not riding like my ass was on fire lol....back into the mid 30s.

Amp is all mounted up...minimal wiring/cleaning up and she'll be rattling windows at stop lights with more than just the exhaust!

Amp is wired in and tuned....much better quality sound out of it now.

Amazed at how much bad wiring (no check eng light) on an O2 sensor can screw with the tune. I had quickly made up an extension for the front O2 after installing new exhaust. It pulled apart when I was taking the tank off to wire in the amp. Soldered the connection together, and man she came to life! Bike pulled very well from 3K up but was very flat on the bottom end. She bites just as much as her bark indicates now.
