I helped bring the Moving Wall to Mint Hill in 2019. It was probably one of the coolest things I’ve done in my career. Turned an empty field in a park into a 5-day 24-hour a day home for the names on the wall. Started with converting the site, leveling the ground, building paths, setting flagpoles, making light poles, and escorting it into town. Did several special events during its stay and helped many old vets reconnect. It’s shocking how quickly Vietnam Vets are becoming the “old timers” now.
