Tree Removal Needed

I am looking for quotes for having a partially rotted tree taken down in my daughter's yard in Creedmoor. It's 20-30 feet tall and less than a foot in diameter. She would be willing to give away the wood in exchange for a price break.

This......especially with it being half rotted. Dead trees are unpredictable when you attempt to drop them. Expect to pay a premium price, more so if it's close to any structures. Also, I'd make sure anyone doing it was fully insured.

That is pretty small. If it is not too close to anything important I'd either do it myself, or find a friend/associate that has some tree experience. Not a big enough job for most tree companies so they will likely not want to come look at it, or will charge you way more than they should.

Look for one that has a certified arborist. We had a tree removed and another one trimmed when we lived in Greensboro. Tree was too sick. Confirmed after cutting. Black core.
