Looking for arrows that might be broken, wanting to use an arrow and make small, 1" or so tubes out of them.

Not priced them at WM, maybe it'd be easier (or cheaper) to just buy one, but while it was on my mind I thought I'd ask here

I have several you could have, but it might be easier to check the clearance isle at WM first. They tend to clear them out this time of year for $1-2 each. Which is cheap for carbon.

I have plenty of each that aren't usable for shooting right now. If you are near me or willing to come by (Chatham County) you are welcome to pick and choose what suits your needs. May be a pain to drive out here but they would be free! LOL!

I have an arrow that snapped in three middle as soon as I released it. Carbon. 500 spine.
I'm in China now. Be back late in March.
It is yours if you still need some.

Gentlemen, I have a question for you
I took Jason's advice and found some at WalMart on clearance ( I got two for about 5 bucks total, one is slightly longer and larger diameter than the other)
My question is this, before I start sawing these things open, how large on the inside are they?
Like, what would you say the internal diameter is on them?

Even though they are cheap I'd rather not waste one if it wont work for me. At that point I'd just give them away

The ID is going to vary with the diameter of the arrow. What ID are you looking for?

Cant say for sure, I dont know exactly.
But Im thinking a 1/4 or so.

Might be too small and I just give these things away. Or buy a cheap bow and play around lol

Have you tried going by an archery shop and ask for the trimmings from shaft adjustments?

I dont know where any are around here, Im near WS

I don't know about yours but the ones I've dealt with the pointy end is glued in with hot glue so if you heat it, threaded insert may slide out for measurement.

The head should unscrew. Iv never seen a glue on head that also has an insert???

Take the nock out, they are never glued in. Inserts or glue in points are harder to deal with. Heat and twisting will unwrap the carbon. Acetone can get them to let go sometimes.
