Triangle Shooting Academy update from Bill

So what you are saying is when we voice our opinion on whatever it may be, if you ,yourself, think it to be negative then we are childish, boring, and a poorly opinoinated community. Furthermore there has been no rebuttal that i have seen from TSA on this based on what has been said in this thread . I am not trying to start anything or put words in your mouth, just trying to get clarification of what you mean.

No, not when someone expresses an opinion, just when almost everyone expresses the same opinion and generally an opinion that seems not to be well thought out. It's the equivalent of a mob shouting down folks that want to have a discussion, it's just emotion. It is theonline, white, red-neck, gun-toting, flag-waving equivalent of a BLM rally.

Do you blame TSA for not engaging? What would be the point, it would just incite the mob and extend the yelling.

BTW, it isn't my opinion that the comments were negative, it is the grammatical structures selected by the authors.

I'm not trying to get into an argument on top to the crap pile that is this thread, just couldn't pass by without saying something. I'm way past thinking that I'm going to change anyone on the Internet, so if you want to ignore me that's cool.

I feel like I should end this with a

Funny.....I was gonna reply with one.

This sight wasn't started by a mob, it isn't operating as one. I'm not seeing a mob mentality.

Better to break wind and lose a friend, than to pinch your butt and bust your gut!!!

People tend to when a stupid comment draws universally negative reactions... it's easier than admitting it was stupid.

On a related note, since a business has to keep up with its costs, would you business-before-customer types agree that Cheaper Than Dirt and others were fine with increasing their prices by 100% the day after SH supposedly happened? How about Dick's pulling MSRs? .

Those places will never get a dollar from me ever again, and I buy a fair amount of gun stuff. Do I matter? Probably not, but I feel better about not patronizing the RINOs of the gun world.

This thread has gone in every conceivable direction.

Maybe we should just edit what we don't like from the threads, or lock them up, or better yet just delete them altogether as soon as anyone gets their panties in a bunch. That should make for a great "forum" for the spread of ideas or lack thereof.

I personally like seeing peoples opinions, some I'll agree with, and some I won't. Just because I don't agree with them doesn't make it a bad discussion. But then again we have other places that will just delete whatever doesn't fit the narrative and move on. Maybe that makes it "friendly" or maybe just an echo chamber.

Same here bro
I patronize SGammo instead of CTD, and my ffl or lgs instead of the Dick's

You like seeing people's opinions, it's really coming through tonight. I'm gonna go work in the garage.

Who the heck tries out a holster anyway? How the heck can you expect to end up with a box full of holsters if you don't simply buy them sight unseen online, or as impulse buys on random gun shops along your vacation route. The classified sections would die if we all start doing that kind of dragged out research. Just buy the damn holster, bring it home and stick your gun in it. No need for drama at a retail outlet.
All my holsters have came from forum vendors supporting the site that make holsters, be it leather or kydex. I've bought holsters from at least 5 different vendors, even had custom work done while watching in person. You don't get that kind of service at an online store or in the gun shop that sells shelf brand products ;)

It's a diverse forum for sure.

What a few active members say, doesn't necessarily represent the majority of members or the forum owners. Opinions and discussion is allowed here, and because it's allowed doesn't mean it's condoned. I've had a rebuttal for several posts I very much disagree with recently. A rebuttal is a healthy lively forum, sensoring isn't. Our members may have different views on extreme opposing ends. Heck even the Admin and Staff has very different opinions on certain issues, and sometimes it's the extreme opposite.

We are open to discussion and many views. We won't sensor these views, even if that means loosing advertising money for the forum. We aren't going to be that type of site. Any discussion is basically allowed until it reaches the level of a threat, personal attack, or condoning violence. We won't tolerate that. We can't please everyone by sensoring those who they don't agree with. If thinks that we agree with something because we allow it to be posted, it's not the case. We will allow discussion without sensoring, and if you don't like the lack of sensoring and choose to pull out, I'm sorry and wish anyone the best.

Plus.... When you have a forum with the amount of people we do, on a passionate subject matter.... You are going to get a LOT of opinions. Many of which will be the same... But, that's why we come to the forum.... To add to the conversation. Even if it's the same opinion.... This one is mine. There are many like it.... Wait... Where was I... I drifted...

Back on topic... The opinions voiced here in this thread only represent a small, small group of the population of CFF. So it may appear as a dogpile, but realistically it's just a bunch of like minded folks giving an opinion.

I heard there was a referendum to kick me out.

Pack a lunch.

SB, I'm not suggesting that anything or anyone be censored.

Now I'm headed to the mountains to pull a finger.

That answer is pretty clear, but the Founders' intent has been abused there just like everywhere else.

Oh just stop it with that mob mentality.

I've never bought a holster that didn't fit the gun. If you have doubts just have chief jason or another vendor here make you one. No store visit needed.
Sometimes it's not the gun fit, sometimes it the body fit. :D

As for all the SEALs, they surely must have alter-egos when they're not out doing real-world superhero exploits. What better cover than a mild-mannered shoeshine boy er, gun-shop counter clerk?

I think this thread as ambled because, everybody's just hanging out here talking $hit, waiting to see if the store owner will come back. :p

Pass me another beer.

Yes I noticed a few days ago one of the posters and advertisers left. Kudos to Carolina Firearms Forum to allowing an open forum and not being afraid to let a sponsor take his ball and go home.

So he did. That's disappointing. He was one of my favorite folks.

This thread is the like a high speed head on train wreck you see coming from a Mile away, you know it's going to be terrible but you can't force yourself to look away!
